Michael, winner of Prize Home Draw 532 on the Gold Coast in Queensland
Michael - Draw 532 Winner

"I still can't believe it!"

Imagine receiving the call that you've won a multi-million-dollar Prize Home just before Christmas.

That's exactly what happened to Michael.

Having just wrapped up his work for the year in the mines, working with garbage trucks in Karratha, near the small community of Pegs Creek where he lived, Michael and his girlfriend were contemplating where to go for a quiet drink when the phone rang. It was Tracey on the other end. "I couldn't believe it," Michael recalls, "we were dancing in the car park, wondering if it was all real."

Tracey assured him, "Yes, it's real, and you better hop on a plane to come see your new home."

And just like that, Michael and his girlfriend made the life-changing decision to quit their jobs and relocate to Miami on the Gold Coast.

"We had to do the right thing and give proper notice at work, but then we wasted no time".

The new home surpassed all their expectations. Every detail, every aspect of their new home, seemed like a dream come true. Watching the waves roll in from their top balcony was a sight Michael hadn't experienced in ages—it was truly special.

It's a Win-Win Situation.

As children, Michael and his siblings always found excitement in receiving the yourtown brochure, imagining themselves in the homes and dreaming of the homes, cars and gold. Though they never truly thought they'd win, their mother reminded them that participating was for a good cause, helping kids in need through Kids Helpline.

Continuing the tradition of buying tickets, Michael held onto hope and dreams - and now, here he is, a winner.

"The new home has transformed our lives forever".

Michael's advice to everyone is simple: buy tickets, maybe even twenty like he did, and just look what you could win—all while supporting a great cause.
